I've recently been working with the theme of emergence. What does it mean to emerge? Why would someone want to emerge, to be seen, to be witnessed while possibly feeling vulnerable?
Art has been a language for me throughout my life, as far back as I can remember, proudly identifying as an artist from age 4. Due to how various voices in society and lineage can damper the spirit, it has not always been easy to fully emerge with Artist as a key part of my identity, and all that entails. Discovering and living in the magic of my own permission to honestly express myself is something I have gone through many stages of relationship with, from an early age, and throughout
my life.
Now, lately, as a mother, partner, business owner, and more, I've been emerging in new forms, finding my way into a new connection with my creativity, following my curiosities, engaging with my impulses, and breaking through certain "rules," with honest expressions that I'm excited to share.

This website is still growing into the vision I have for it. Right now it features my cyanotypes, custom bookmaking, and collage. I'd like to expand the content to also include paintings and encaustic work.
