I am an artist of many mediums, as well as a licensed art therapist, living and working in Lyons, Colorado. I create in many mediums in addition to those featured on this website. My work is rooted in themes of emergence, spaciousness, and the courage it takes to be seen. I allow myself to be guided by curiosity, honesty, and joy — and by the belief that art is a portal to the deeper reaches of ourselves.
My creative process is deeply tactile and contemplative. Whether I’m building a hand-stitched book, exposing a cyanotype in the sun, or layering collage, I approach each piece as an opportunity to witness what wants to surface. I’m interested in the moment where the inner and outer worlds meet — where vulnerability becomes expression, and expression becomes transformation. Alongside my creative own practice, I offer workshops in bookmaking, collage, and (soon) cyanotype. These workshops are designed as spacious, intentional environments for people to explore their inner landscape through materials and process. I view all these mediums, and visual art, not only as creative objects, but as vessels for memory, inquiry, and self-discovery. I am also a practicing, licensed therapist, integrating art therapy with relational, somatic, and holistic modalities. In both clinical and creative spaces, my mission is the same: to hold room for people to reconnect with themselves — gently, authentically, and with deep permission to emerge.
